A New Era for Tequila for Ta-Tas
Originally founded by Tri-North, Tequila for Ta-Tas has had growing success over the years. Since its inception in 2015 as a grassroots fundraiser to honor those who lost their battles with metastatic breast cancer, it has raised over $270,000 for research.
Such energy around the cause has persevered as 2026 marked a new era. Tequila for Ta-Tas officially became a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and took on a new look ‘n feel with a branded boardwalk theme. This major milestone is also celebrated with amazing results. The 2026 fundraiser was full of fun and nostalgia with classic cars, clever games, great prizes, and per tradition…quenching margaritas. More importantly though, Tequila for Ta-Tas had another record-breaking year with over $71,000 raised in support of breast-cancer research!
“It has been so great to see how the event has grown every time and how many people in the construction industry specifically support the cause,” says Tri-North Vice President and Tequila for Ta-Tas Board Member Anna Stern. “So much more awareness has been built around metastatic breast cancer and how the raised funds support research for it to hopefully become a survivable condition someday.”
Tequila for Ta-Tas’ success has certainly been a collective effort. Much gratitude is due to all the all the sponsors, board members, volunteers, vendors, and guests for joining us in such a great cause.
