Job Description:

As a full-service construction management firm working in all 50 states, Tri-North’s specialized in-house services span all phases of the construction process. Because of our depth and breadth of services, our project managers have the opportunity to run projects of every scope and size while fostering a multitude of client and subcontractor relationships. As a Project Manager with Tri-North, you will plan construction projects and oversee their progress along the way in a timely and cost-effective manner. You will be responsible for budgeting, organization, implementation, and scheduling of the projects.

The ideal candidate for this role must have a demonstrated understanding of constructability with an ability to run projects profitably and to the clients’ satisfaction, while maintaining effective communication both internally and externally. In the construction industry, there is no room for error when it comes to safety, finance, and quality craftsmanship. The candidate we’re looking for will have the ability to lead by example, work well under pressure, is adaptable to multiple work environments, juggles multiple projects at a time, and manages client expectations while executing Tri-North’s core principles.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion
  • Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs
  • Oversee all onsite/offsite construction to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations
  • Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors
  • Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts, and obtain permits and licenses
  • Select tools, materials and equipment; track inventory
  • Meet contractual conditions of performance
  • Review the work progress on daily basis
  • Prepare internal/external reports relating to job status
  • Plan ahead to prevent issues and resolve any emerging
  • Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits/licenses
  • Analyze, manage, mitigate risks
  • Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques
Requirements:
  • Proven working experience in construction management
  • BS degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering or related field is preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to manage all financial aspects of projects
  • Analytical skills to comprehend complex details of a project to fit the scope of work
  • Problem solving skills to understand the root cause of issues as they arise to ensure successful outcomes
  • Effective communication on and off the jobsite
  • Precise attention to detail
  • Response time fanatic
