Our company is looking for a candidate that will successfully assisting project managers and/or field staff on projects of multiple scopes and sizes. This includes assisting with paperwork as needed, tracking down answers or solutions as requested, and easing the administrative burden of the project team.

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate will be must have basic knowledge of construction processes and constructability with the ability to be a creative thinker and problem solver. The Project Engineer will be primarily focused on gaining real world experience, and working to develop an understanding of complex construction problems and how one might solve the same.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Assist project managers and field staff on specific projects
  • Assist both the project manager and the superintendent with record keeping and organization of the project and its files
  • Acknowledge and appreciate field staff; regularly visit assigned jobsites
  • The role will involve working closely with the project team, clients, and subcontractors to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Clarifying expectations with PMs, field staff, and supervisors
Requirements:
  • Effective and timely communicator, in both writing and verbally
  • Must have a high level of personal and professional integrity
  • Must be flexible and proactive, with a “can do attitude”
  • Displays excellent time management and problem solving skills
  • Well-developed analytical skills and forward thinker
  • Background and knowledge of construction
  • Willingness to learn construction software and scheduling or cost management software.
